Gameday Posters

Client: Indy Eleven
Project Type: Posters
Launch Date: 2013-Present

The Indy Eleven approached me and a number of local artists to do gameday posters for every home game they’ve ever played.

2016 Three Way (Main Image): This design was special because it’s 3 different posters each that could stand on their own. When combined they form a singular image of a fan holding a scarf above their head.

2017 College Night: Parody of Animal House Poster featuring every player on the team.

2017 Pride Night: Simple and Bold, featuring a custom illustration of Carroll Stadium from above.

2017 Craft Beer Night: Features a silhouette of Brad Ring against smoke, who famously chugged a beer on the pitch after the 2016 Spring Championship.

2017 Balloon Pop: The night had a world record attempt for popping balloons so a bouquet of balloons in the shape of the Indianapolis Flag is featured.

2016 Playoffs: Playing into the infamous Indianapolis Colt’s Head Coach Jim Mora proclaiming “PLAYOFFS?!”, this featured an illustration of Mora at the top, and the Indy Eleven’s coach confirming that yes, Playoffs for the Boys in Blue.

2016 Pride Night: A gradient rainbow over the supporters section, plus a modified club crest.

2016 Soccer Heritage Night: Illustrations of every pro soccer team’s jersey that has called Indiana home.

2016 Opener: New Indy player Sinisa Ubiparipovic came from the home opener’s opponent the Ottawa Fury, so I created an image of him revealing his new jersey.

2015 Indy Forever: The team’s marketing campaign was Indy Forever, so I illustrated this collection of all the sights and sounds of an Indy Eleven match along with the Indianapolis skyline.

2014 US Open Cup: The team’s first entry into the nation’s oldest tournament featured a illustration of the trophy.

2015 Glory Glory Indiana: A depiction of kickoff between the Indy Eleven and Carolina Railhawks set in front of the Indianapolis skyline. This design later became a beer can design for Battalion Ale.

2014 Defend the Mike: Carroll Stadium is known as “The Mike” and the team and fans take great pride at their success on Hoosier soil. The image is of the supports stands and smoke bombs going off after a home team goal.

2014 Runner: This poster was a alternate for another game, but it was inspired by vintage soccer posters.
