Eastern Illinois Panthers //

The Eastern Illinois athletic logo desperately needs an update, and this was my view on the Panther name. Panthers is a name that has been used thousands of times all over the country. I wanted to create a unique package, but still keep a collegiate feel.

With the current logo having an idle pose, and in fact only being a head, I created a panther poised for attack. Alumni may be upset by dropping black from the color scheme, but I feel the two tone blue is very classy and makes the package that much better.
