Vermont Champs //

With the Montreal Expos leaving for Washington DC and becoming the Nationals, their single A team in Vermont was without a name. The Expos name stood for the 2005 season, but will change in 2006.

I feel the team name should be Champs, named for the mythological beast that resides in Lake Champlain in northern Vermont, and is the current team's mascot. Taking the green of the costume, and the colors of the parent club (navy blue and red) they provided a unique color palette to create a logo around.
